One of the greatest privileges you can have as a Christian is telling others about your Savior. Even though all of us will not be evangelists, all of us can become better at sharing our faith. The following resources will help you in that journey. How to Give Away Your Faith by Paul Little - This resource will help you understand how to befriend a non-Christian and then bring up spiritual issues. Also included is a helpful chapter on answers to common questions unbelievers have such as: Why is there suffering in the world? Is Jesus the only way to God? etc. The Four Spiritual Laws pamphlet/ Steps to Peace with God pamphlet - One of the difficulties all of us have in explaining our faith is making the gospel simple and intelligible. Both of these tracts lay out the gospel clearly and completely. All of us should be familiar with the contents of one pamphlet and ready to use it when the Lord opens the door. Knowing Jesus Christ by Navpress - This three-week Bible study is an excellent resource for someone who is interested in the gospel. God's word is allowed to do it penetrating work in explaining: Who is Jesus Christ? The Work of Jesus Christ, and How to Have Eternal Life in Christ. Another excellent tool for your evangelistic toolbox. More Than A Carpenter by Josh McDowell - A concise and readable book that explains the logical reasoning behind Christianity. Topics covered include the reliability of the Scriptures, the proof for the resurrection, and what makes Jesus so different? This is an excellent resource for both the believer and unbeliever. Know Why You Believe by Paul Little - While More Than A Carpenter focuses on Jesus, this resource covers general apologetic questions like: How do we know there is a God? Why is there suffering in the world? Etc. The Lord used this book in my life as a college student to show me that faith in Jesus was reasonable. Back |
