Because we believe in the authority of the Bible, we look to what the Bible teaches and not what our secular culture or Evangelical culture is teaching. As a result we look to the Bible for instructions on: Church Government and Structure: We believe in having many ordained elders not just one pastor. We believe in practicing church discipline in a loving and Biblical way. We believe that God’s plan is for the church to be in the center of fulfilling His will. Counseling: We believe in looking to the Bible and not to psychology for answers to man’s deepest problems. Gender Roles: We believe that God has ordained complementary but different roles for men and women. Origins: We believe that account of beginnings in Genesis can fully trusted without any attempts to reconcile it with evolutionary thinking. Children’s Ministry: We believe that parents (especially fathers), not the church, are responsible to minister to their child’s spiritual needs. The church should help parents fulfill this duty.
